PILGRIMAGE
Lokacija: Ušće, park ispred Muzeja savremene umetnosti

Betonska spirala koja uokviruje prazan prostor će se ukopati 2m u zemlju u parku na Ušću, ispred Muzeja savremene umetnosti u Beogradu. Gornja površina će biti u nivou površine tla, zatvorena staklom, nevidljiva sa veće udaljenosti. Skulptura PILGRIMAGE nije statična, hermetična niti konstantna, već živi u skladu sa okruženjem – okruženje je definiše i nadograđuje. Upija kišu, preplavljuje oko sebe, nestaje pod travom i lišćem… 

Prolaznik će moći da proviri u njenu unutrašnjost, u prazninu, ali neće moći ni da uđe niti da je sagleda. Posmatrač se suočava sa njenom beskonačnošću.

Skulptura je poklon japanskog umetnika Vade Muzeju savremene umetnosti.

PILGRIMAGE

A concrete spiral is placed 2 meters deep into the ground. The top surface is at the ground level and is not visible from the far. The sculpture is not hermetic and constant, it lives the life of its surrounding and is created by it its surrounding. It sucks the rain into itself, makes the flood, and disappears under the earth, grass and leaves…

A viewer is able to have just a glimpse, but he/she can neither see completely inside of it nor can enter into it. The viewer is therefore confronted with “endless”.
